We are seeking an experienced Coating and Painting Specialist to join our team in Carlisle. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for powder coating and spray painting metal fabrications to precise specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate paint-shop equipment including spray guns, compressors, and powder-coating plant
- Use hand and power tools such as drills, sanders, and grinders
- Maintain accurate records and mark up components as required
- Work effectively independently or as part of a team
- Ensure quality standards are met with attention to detail
- Proven experience in powder coating and painting
- Strong practical skills with experience using hand tools and machinery
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.50-£16.50 per hour
- Overtime opportunities based on the order book
- 39 hours/week Monday to Friday with flexibility to work additional hours when required
