About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality professional care and promoting independence and well-being for a young university student based in Macclesfield.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be motivated and organized, and have a genuine interest in supporting individuals with physical disabilities.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual who can work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, to provide personal care and support to our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, shopping, and light domestic duties.
  • Provide personal care and support, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
  • Safeguard the individual's health, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Drive the individual to appointments and social events, as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care or a related field is desirable but not essential.
  • Hold a Health & Social Care Qualification or equivalent.
  • Possess a Full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
  • Be an excellent communicator, motivated, and organised.
  • Have a genuine interest in promoting quality care and supporting individuals with physical disabilities.

Salary: £220 per shift (approximately £10,240 per annum)
