Job Summary

We are seeking a Bank Staff Member to join our team in an Early Years nursery setting. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a casual basis, with the security of being an employee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support nursery colleagues in delivering the EYFS curriculum, engaging children in play and activities that promote their development.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure all essential tasks are completed to maintain high standards of hygiene and room preparation.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children is ideal, but not essential.
  • A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • The ability to use various communication techniques with children and adults.
  • A sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
