Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Nursery Colleagues: Engage children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
  • Work as Part of a Team: Ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands, i.e., hygiene standards and room preparation.
  • Promote Child Welfare: Safeguard, protect, and ensure the health and safety of children.
  • Maintain a Positive Environment: Work with colleagues to maintain a happy and safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Early Years Qualification: Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working with children (Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder, or similar).
  • Passion for Learning: Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Safeguarding: Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • Flexibility: Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
