Job Overview

Contract Scotland is seeking a Commercial Project Coordinator to join our team as an Estimator. In this role, you will work closely with our clients to deliver high-quality estimates for civil engineering projects.

You will have significant experience in civil engineering, groundwork, and renewable projects, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Conduct site visits to assess and measure specific project areas.
  • Analyse and price risks rigorously.
  • Manage involvement across multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

As an Estimator, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing and submitting estimates for civil engineering projects.
  2. Coordinating with clients to understand project requirements.
  3. Working closely with the commercial team to ensure accurate pricing.
  4. Maintaining accurate records and reports.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a similar estimating role.
  2. Significant experience in civil engineering projects, preferably in civils groundwork.
  3. Exceptional time management and planning abilities.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  5. A valid UK driving licence.
