Job Title: Senior Financial Leader

Location: Various locations across the UK

Hours: Full-time

Working Pattern: Hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week spent at one of our office sites.

About the Role

This is a critical position within the Economic Crime Prevention, Risk Management Framework Team at Lloyds Banking Group. As a Senior Financial Leader, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end oversight of the group's Transaction Monitoring capability, covering both fraud and financial crime. You will require in-depth knowledge of technology systems, data ingestion, and risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of Transaction Monitoring strategies to prevent and detect economic crime.
  • Collaborate with business areas, technology, and platform partners to improve technology-led risk controls.
  • Provide support and direction to a small team of colleagues, with a focus on talent development and performance management.
  • Contribute to the development of data-led analysis techniques for risk management, covering both fraud and financial crime risk.
  • Engage with business risk teams to challenge and mitigate risk, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of data and risk management, with experience in Transaction Monitoring tooling and strategies.
  • Well-developed risk management focus, with the ability to influence across critical teams.
  • Proven track record in talent development, performance management, and colleague engagement.
  • Experience of building control frameworks and data-led analysis techniques.
