We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Manager to join our team at B&Q. As a key member of our Customer Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our customer data.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in data quality and experience working with Agile methodologies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our customer data quality strategy and operating framework, ensuring that data quality issues are addressed at source.
You will work closely with our Tech and Kingfisher teams to deliver our data quality framework and roadmap, and ensure that data in the data lake is in the correct location for stakeholders to use.
As a Data Quality Manager, you will be an active member of our wider data community, engaging with the group data team and other banners across the group.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement our customer data quality strategy and operating framework.
- Design and lead the implementation of our 'single version of truth' datasets through combining multiple data sources.
- Identify and mitigate potential data quality issues at all stages of the data lifecycle.
- Monitor and measure data quality performance, ensuring we have the right tools and mitigations in place.
- Triage data quality issues, understand impact and importance, and use agile management practices to prioritise effectively.
- Lead data quality analysts within a team, growing and nurturing team through coaching and training.
- Work closely with Tech and Kingfisher to deliver our data quality framework and roadmap.
- Be an active member of the wider data community across the group.
- Extensive data quality background and experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Expertise in SQL and experience using other languages such as Python or R.
- Experience deploying data quality and assurance workflows with tools like Airflow.
- Strong understanding of Data Governance and good Data Quality practices.
- Extensive experience with Quality Assurance, lead coding documentation, and version control best practices using GitHub.
- Ability to understand and maximise the value of data, and act with a commercial lens.
