Plant Maintenance Specialist

Biffa Biffa plc. is a leading provider of waste management services, and we are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Carlisle.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance work on our plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £44,591.95 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks on plant equipment
- Identify and report any faults or issues with equipment
- Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement maintenance schedules
- Liaise with external contractors as required
Requirements:
- Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/C+G) or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
