Job Description
The Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) will lead, develop, and support the SEND provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities across the ages of 11-18 years. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will work closely with teachers, students, and parents to ensure inclusive education practices are implemented throughout the school.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with SEND
- Collaborate with teachers to create personalized learning plans
- Provide guidance on classroom accommodations and modifications
- Monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of SEND initiatives

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- National Award for SEN Co-ordination (NASENCO) qualification
- Experience working as a SENCO in a mainstream secondary school
- Up-to-date knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices
