Senior Social Worker: Family Substance Abuse Intervention

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Worker to join our team at Frontier Consulting. As a Senior Social Worker: Family Substance Abuse Intervention, you will be responsible for providing expert independent assessment and support to families in care proceedings where substance abuse is a significant issue.

Working directly with parents, you will contribute to multi-disciplinary assessment, formulation, and intervention planning. You will also undertake some key work and substance abuse screening of parents. In addition, you will verbally update and advise the judges on FDAC lawyer and non-lawyer hearings.

The ideal candidate will have experience of frontline social work and have worked within care proceedings, Child Protection, and Child in Need. They will be a good communicator, a team player, and capable of individual practice.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to a Barred List check.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
