Job Title: Lead Electrical/Electronic Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical/Electronic Engineer to join our team at GE Aviation. As a key member of our Advanced Technology Organisation, you will be responsible for defining the hardware scope and functionality of our new products, working with the project team through the concept development and prototype design phases, and supporting transition into production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality, cost-effective electrical and electronic systems for our aerospace products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, embedded software development, mechanical design, and testing functions.
  • Work with customers to develop concepts for their new aircraft and ensure that our products meet their requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and innovations in the field of electrical and electronic engineering.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering or science subject.
  • Desirable - Master's or PhD in a relevant subject.
  • Experience working as an Electrical/Electronic Engineer in the aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors.
  • Good understanding of electrical power systems, vehicle systems, or display systems.

  • Exceptional design skills with the ability to resolve multi-variable, multi-domain trade studies to optimize designs.
