About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join our team in the Transformation Unit. This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, providing administrative support to the Diabetes and Endocrinology service at the Gladstone Centre.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide accurate and confidential administration services to the Clinical Specialty and its associated work streams.
  2. Support with audio typing of dictated and standard letters, patient training courses coordination, and database updates.
  3. Maintain records/data quality, ensuring all information is accurate and relevant.
  4. Order items via the Oracle Procurement system and send Diabetes documentation to patients.
  5. Prepare 'Care Plan' documentation in readiness for new patients.

Requirements

  • NVQ Business Administration L3 or equivalent experience.
  • RSA /OCR level 2 or equivalent experience (must be a proficient user of Microsoft Word).
  • AMSPAR – City & Guilds L3.
  • NVQ Customer Service L3.

Salary and Benefits
