Cornhouse Consulting is seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Poole, UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze projects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations
  • Manage project execution, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating with clients and contractors
  • Ensure engineering work meets quality standards and deadlines, staying within budget
  • Encourage innovative thinking and best practices within the team
  • Stay up-to-date with new materials, technologies, and design methods to apply innovative solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Chartered status (e.g., MICE) is preferred
  • Relevant experience in structural engineering, including project management and expertise in Timberframe design
  • Strong written and spoken English skills for effective teamwork and client interaction
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Junior/Intermediate Structural Design engineer
