Job Details:
We are seeking a Junior and Intermediate Structural Design Engineer to join our Poole-based consultancy. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in structural design and be able to work on projects including schools, residential, and commercial, such as Impermeable Area Surveys and flood risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and analyze projects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Manage project execution, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating with clients and contractors.
  3. Ensure engineering work meets quality standards and deadlines, staying within budget.
  4. Stay up-to-date with new materials, technologies, and design methods to apply innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Relevant experience in structural engineering, including project management and expertise in Timberframe design.
  3. Strong written and spoken English skills for effective teamwork and client interaction.
  4. Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Junior/Intermediate Structural Design engineer.
  5. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, design software, and regulatory requirements.
