About the Role
The Group Head of Diversity, Inclusion will play a pivotal role in driving Legal & General's commitment to creating a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the organization's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy, fostering a culture that values and celebrates individual differences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI strategy, aligned with Legal & General's business objectives and values.
- Lead the DEI team, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure the successful execution of DEI initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, HR, and other stakeholders to drive cultural transformation and promote inclusive practices throughout the organization.
- Design and implement metrics to measure DEI progress, providing regular reporting and insights to inform business decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in DEI.
- Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and other resources to educate employees on DEI principles and promote a culture of inclusion.
Requirements
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful DEI strategies in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform DEI decisions.
- Experience working in a regulated industry, with a deep understanding of the importance of compliance and risk management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a focus on DEI goals.
