Group Head of Diversity and Inclusion

About the Role:
The Group Head of Diversity, Inclusion will play a pivotal role in driving Legal & General's commitment to creating a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the organization's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts, fostering a culture of belonging and driving business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI strategy, aligned with Legal & General's business objectives and values.
- Lead the DEI team, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure the successful execution of DEI initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, business stakeholders, and HR to drive DEI awareness, education, and training programs.
- Design and implement metrics to measure DEI progress, tracking and reporting on key performance indicators.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in DEI.
- Develop and manage budgets, resources, and partnerships to support DEI initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of leading DEI initiatives in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders, employees, and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform DEI decisions.
- Experience with DEI metrics, benchmarking, and reporting.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to DEI.
