Job Title: Group Head of Diversity, Inclusion

About the Role:

The Group Head of Diversity, Inclusion will play a pivotal role in driving Legal & General's commitment to creating a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the organization's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts, fostering a culture of belonging and driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI strategy, aligned with Legal & General's business objectives and values.
  2. Lead the DEI team, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure the successful execution of DEI initiatives.
  3. Collaborate with senior leaders, business stakeholders, and HR to drive DEI awareness, education, and training programs.
  4. Design and implement metrics to measure DEI progress, tracking and reporting on key performance indicators.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in DEI.
  6. Develop and manage budgets, resources, and partnerships to support DEI initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of leading DEI initiatives in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders, employees, and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform DEI decisions.
  • Experience with DEI metrics, benchmarking, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to DEI.
