About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Nyland as an Archival Collections Manager and play a key role in developing our digital preservation programme. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our archive and IT teams to ensure the long-term preservation of our digital assets.

The ideal candidate will have a professional qualification in Archives/Records Management or Digital Archives management and experience in appraising records for long-term value, specifically working with born-digital collections.

You will be responsible for defining a policy for the archive and wider organisation, working with our archivist to set up a digital preservation programme, and overseeing the curation of archival digital assets.

Your Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional qualification in Archives/Records Management or Digital Archives management.
  • Experience in appraising records for long-term value, specifically working with born-digital collections.
  • Specialist knowledge of good practice in the digital preservation of archives, including documents, images, sound, and moving images.
