Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Referral and Assessment service in Luton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to vulnerable adults and their carers.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct initial assessments and core assessments to identify the needs of service users.
- Carry out Section 47 investigations to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families.
- Contribute to the duty rota to ensure a responsive and effective service.
- Initiate care proceedings where necessary to protect the welfare of vulnerable individuals.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies to provide a comprehensive support package for service users.
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification (degree or diploma).
- Registered with the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., Social Work England).
- Proven experience in a social work role, preferably within Referral and Assessment.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work practice.
