Job Opportunity: MRI Radiographer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Radiographer Specialist to join our team at a leading healthcare provider. As a Specialist MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality MRI scans and providing exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with an on-call aspect covering weekday and Saturday lists. You will be working in a state-of-the-art facility with access to the latest technology and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality MRI scans, including MSK and Orthopaedics, urology, and GI MRI studies
  • Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a safe and comfortable experience for patients with implants
  • Work collaboratively with the MRI team to deliver a range of scans and meet departmental targets
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain expertise in MRI safety and protocols
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HCPC registration as an MRI Radiographer
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in MRI, with a strong background in MSK and Orthopaedics
  • Experience working with Siemens MRI scanners
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance and protocols relating to MRI
