">About the Role
">As a Children's House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our house system. This includes managing attendance and punctuality, monitoring student progress, and maintaining high-quality relationships with students, parents, and staff.
">You will also work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement strategies that drive academic excellence and student well-being. This includes promoting good behaviour and discipline, addressing underachievement, and contributing to whole-school assemblies and events.
">Your Key Responsibilities

- Pastoral care: Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, providing guidance and support to ensure their emotional and academic well-being">
- Attendance and punctuality: Manage attendance records, identifying trends and developing strategies to improve student engagement and participation">
- Monitoring and evaluation: Regularly assess student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted plans to enhance their academic achievement">
- Behaviour for learning: Promote a culture of respect and inclusivity, encouraging students to take responsibility for their actions and Behaviour">
- The learning environment: Ensure that classrooms and common areas are clean, safe, and organised, promoting a sense of community and collaboration among students and staff">
- Performance Management: Work closely with teachers and support staff to set targets and monitor progress, driving improvement and excellence across the academy">
- Addressing underachievement: Identify and support students who require additional help, developing tailored plans to accelerate their progress and close attainment gaps">
- Quality of reports: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for future development">
- Contribution to whole school assemblies and Focus Days: Engage with students, staff, and parents to promote a sense of unity and shared purpose, celebrating our achievements and successes">
