Contract Negotiator and Lawyer

Armada Music seeks a talented Contract Negotiator and Lawyer to lead our contract management efforts in London. This role requires a strong understanding of contract law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate complex agreements.
About the PositionIn this position, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts with various stakeholders, including artists, record labels, and production companies. You will also need to ensure that all contracts are properly archived and updated in our royalty system.
Duties and Responsibilities- Negotiating and drafting contracts;
- Reviewing and revising existing contracts;
- Corresponding with contracting parties;
- Coordinating with finance teams to ensure accurate financial records;
- Staying up-to-date with changes in contract law and industry regulations.
You will work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and maintain our reputation as a leading independent dance music label.
Qualifications and Skills- Law degree from a recognized institution;
- Minimum 6 years of experience in contract law and negotiation;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Fluency in English language, both written and spoken.
We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
