As a Registered Nurse on our ward team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pre and post-operative care to patients. You will work closely with our experienced nursing staff to assess patient needs, plan and implement care programs, and evaluate their effectiveness. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work well under pressure will be essential in ensuring our patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality pre and post-operative care to patients
* Assess patient needs with enthusiasm and empathy
* Plan, implement, and evaluate care programs with clinical procedures
* Provide medication, injections, intravenous infusions, and female and male catheterisation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* NMC registered RGN with no restrictions or conditions
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK
* At least 1 year of UK experience working in a hospital setting is essential
* Experience in an elective day case surgical/medical multi-disciplinary ward
* Ability to work well independently and within a team
* Good written, numerical, and verbal communication skills
* Computer literate using MS Office Suite and web-based reporting systems
Salary and Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary range of £29,800 - £36,300 per annum, dependent on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to:
