About the Role

This Software Architect position focuses on Compiler Pipelines, specifically on optimizing the Swift compiler for improved performance. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering skills, excellent testing and debugging ability, and strong communication and organizational skills.

You will be responsible for triage and reproduction of issue reports, identifying root causes of performance or code size problems in compiled code, designing and implementing Optimizer improvements, and collaborating on long-term architectural improvements to the compiler pipeline.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $160,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
