About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Care Support Worker to join our team at our Extra Care Scheme in Lymington.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to remain in their own homes with person-centred care, enabling them to live as independently as possible.

Our Extra Care Schemes support individuals to live in their own homes with tailored care and support, taking into account their choices and respecting their human rights.

You will work closely with other agencies, including CQC, adult services, local GP practices, and the local community, to ensure that our customers receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promoting and encouraging independence, whilst assisting individuals with their daily routines.
  • Identifying new opportunities for integration, participation, and inclusion, available to individuals, both within our services and the community.
  • Providing quality personal care, which could include bathing, depending on individual needs, while maintaining respect and sensitivity.
  • Participating in household tasks, which include cleaning, cooking, ironing, washing, etc., while encouraging individuals to join in.
