£31,650 - £43,607 per annum, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Job Description

A Music Teacher is required to join a wonderful team at a high-performing secondary school in Swindon, SN3.

The ideal applicant will be creative, driven, and ambitious, with a strong passion and knowledge for music and the ability to inspire young people to be knowledgeable, analytical, and articulate.

This role involves teaching music lessons, organizing and leading musical performances, concerts, and extracurricular music activities, as well as creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • QTS qualified
  • Previous experience teaching music
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their musical potential
  • Organizational skills to lead musical performances and events
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
