Swindon Borough Council Housing Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Housing Manager to join our Tenancy Services team at Swindon Borough Council. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum rental income is collected from 850 properties across the borough.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions. You will also be responsible for dealing with low-level nuisance and anti-social behaviour, signing up new tenancies, and providing welfare advice to tenants.
This is a demanding role that requires resilience, flexibility, and the ability to travel throughout the borough. A DBS disclosure is required for this position, and fluency in English is essential.
As a Housing Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the council's ambitious vision for Swindon, which aims to create a prosperous, revitalized town for all residents.
