About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Assessment Specialist to join our team at Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust. As a key member of our Clinical Assessment Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical assessments and support to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments of minor illness and minor injury presentations
  • Provide remote prescribing to appropriate conditions
  • Offer palliative care assessments and support
  • Liaise closely with other services to ensure seamless admission avoidance pathways
  • Lead the Clinical Assessment Service team, providing clinical supervision and governance activities
  • Engage in telephone/video consultations and face-to-face interactions, offering advice and support to a wide range of urgent care presentations

Requirements

  • Recognised Advanced Clinical Practice Qualifications at Masters Level
  • Proven experience in urgent care/emergency medicine settings
  • Recent professional development and evidence of autonomous learning opportunities
  • Ability to identify training needs and formulate teaching plans
  • Non-medical prescribing qualification
  • Experience in clinical assessment of minor illness and minor injury presentations
