Job Title: KS2 Teacher/Leader of Maths

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate KS2 teacher to join our team as a Maths Leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the maths curriculum across the school, while also teaching a Year 4 or 5 class.

This is an ideal school to join as a middle leader due to its excellent commuting links, supportive parents, and enthusiastic leadership team. The school is passionate about providing a great education to all students and is looking to hire an outstanding, experienced KS2 practitioner to start in September.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the maths curriculum across the school, developing and implementing maths strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • Teach a Year 4 or 5 class, delivering high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among students and staff.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in teaching maths at KS2 level.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on student outcomes and school improvement.
  • Experience of working in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
