Community Payback Supervisor

Service Care Solutions is a leading recruitment agency for the Probation service nationwide. We are currently recruiting for Community Payback Supervisors in Northamptonshire.

Job Summary

As a Community Payback Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising service users allocated to agency placements, ensuring they complete their work assignments in a disciplined and well-behaved manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and promoting successful completions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Pre-Placement Unpaid Work Induction sessions
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed, alerting relevant staff to any risk and completing associated paperwork accurately and on time
  • Ensure appropriate tools, equipment, and supplies are available and that instructions for safe use are followed by service users
  • Use pro-social and motivational techniques to ensure service users complete their work assignments
  • Monitor attendance and promote successful completions
  • Maintain accurate records of service users, updating the case management system in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Effective inter-personal skills with the ability to supervise constructively while maintaining authority
  • Evidence of problem-solving within a workplace or similar environment
  • Knowledge of safety at work, public protection, and risk of harm in all aspects of work
Technical Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of First Aid and willingness to undertake further training
  • Driving Licence
