We are seeking a skilled Support Practitioner to join our team at Sense Scotland, providing 22.5 hours of support per week on a staff team rota basis.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the life of an individual with additional support needs, supporting them to live independently and participate in their community.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, using a mix of BSL and Makaton to connect with the gentleman, and be able to work independently as part of a team.

You will assist the gentleman with general household tasks, including finance management, as well as administering medication and some aspects of personal care.

The shifts are a mixture of early and back shifts (7.5 hours) followed by a sleepover allocated via a staff rota system.

Job Requirements

The estimated salary for this role is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
