About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Early Help Worker to join our North and South Kesteven Early Help Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support and supervision to a team of Early Help Workers, ensuring effective delivery of services to children, young people, and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management oversight of the work being undertaken with families.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve life opportunities for children and young people.
  • Support the continued development of Integrated Children's Services, promoting evidence-based practice and ensuring children and young people are supported to remain with their families.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with professionals from various agencies to support children and young people in their communities.
Requirements
  • Diploma or equivalent level 4 qualification in a relevant subject for working with children, young people, and families.
  • Or a professional qualification in Youth Work (JNC recognised) or Social Work.
  • Or a Diploma/Qualification in Careers Guidance or Level 4 in guidance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and support others.
  • Knowledge of child development, adolescent risk-taking behavior, and trauma-informed approaches.
