Seeks a highly organised and proactive individual to join our client, a well-respected M&E contractor. As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for bringing enthusiasm and awareness to the document control process, sharing knowledge and contributing to improving the system and process.

The company have been established for over three quarters of a century. Our client is recognised as a market leading mechanical and electrical contractor throughout London and southeast. With a specialist in commercial office and datacentres projects, they also work in public, retail, health, education, leisure, residential and pharmaceutical sectors.

The role offers a competitive salary of 45,000 (including car allowance/mileage) + Healthcare + Pension. Aconex is used as an EDMS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support the project teams always ensuring that they are up to date with relevant information.
  • Ensure site set up checklist is completed with the project team.
  • Set up hard copy site records folders for site office.
  • QA Checks of all Documents
  • Responsible for being the first point of contact in regard to project related information and managing the Aconex project workspace.
  • Ensure all drawings/documentation are correctly identified, distributed, and filed/stored using agreed document control system and based on a project specific distribution matrix.
  • Issuing documentation to all sub-contractors with trackers and schedules
  • Collection of H&S paperwork.
  • Checking of induction forms to make sure operatives have the correct CSCS card for their job role and making sure CMs have seen their paperwork
  • QA Check all RAMS which are sent over by the project team making sure all dates/revisions match and all information like COSSHH/HAVS data sheets are within.

Location: Office in Cambridge and site visits to Norwich when required.
