Job Title: Finance Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Supervisor to join our team at Prescient Recruitment Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining robust financial systems, processes, and controls, ensuring their effective operation. This role requires a part to fully qualified accountant with excellent technical accounting knowledge and experience working with accounting software, such as Xero.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain accurate financial accounts and ensure the effective operation of financial systems, processes, and controls.
  2. Drive continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and controls to ensure sound financial management.
  3. Review and analyse financial statements and produce monthly management accounts.
  4. Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
  5. Oversee sales ledger/accounts receivable and purchase ledger/accounts payable.
  6. End-to-end responsibility of payroll processes, processing monthly payroll & pension filings.
  7. Support the creation of budgets and financial forecasting.
  8. Joint line management of the Finance and Compliance Administrator.
  9. Advise the Finance Director on any matters relating to financial performance.
  10. Participate in and support internal and external audits.
Requirements:
  1. Part to fully qualified accountant with excellent technical accounting knowledge.
  2. Experience working with accounting software, such as Xero.
  3. Experienced and technically proficient with Microsoft Excel.
