Looking to work in the events industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Matchday Steward to join our team at Burnley FC.

We are recruiting additional staff to support our events operations across the region. If you're open to travel, we also have opportunities to be part of some of the biggest events across the UK.

This role involves providing a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff. You will need to be available for match days, which may include mid-week evening matches as well as weekends.

As a Matchday Steward, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out pre and post event safety checks to ensure compliance with safe working procedures.
  • Greeting, assisting and directing visitors attending the event.
  • Ensuring that no prohibited or restricted items are taken into the secured zones within the venues.
  • Monitoring visitor / crowd movements and behaviour to identify potential issues or incidents and to take action as necessary.

The salary for this role is approximately £11.44 per hour.

In addition to the salary, you will also receive benefits such as holiday pay, company pension, training opportunities, and free travel to qualifying events outside of the region.

No experience is required, but applicants holding their Level 2 in Spectator Safety (or above) are preferred. Once on board, you will be given all the training you need to succeed in this role.
