Teaching Assistant - Behavioural Support
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant providing behaviour support. About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support the learning and development of students. Your role will involve providing one-on-one assistance to students, facilitating group activities, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Background in Public Services: We are looking for individuals with a background in public services (e.g., police, fire service, military, social work, etc.)
- Teamwork: The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Empathy: Empathy and understanding towards the diverse needs of students.
- Behaviour Management: A calm and positive manner to controlling challenging behaviour.
- DBS Check: An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
