About the Role

Robertson Facilities Management is a professional organization that values collaboration and strives to deliver exceptional service. As a Maintenance Engineer - Fabric, you will be part of a team dedicated to achieving a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities
  • To perform maintenance duties that support the objectives of our clients and respect the dignity and privacy of residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of asset histories, maintenance reports, and helpdesk information, ensuring seamless communication with the Facilities Manager/Team Leader or Maintenance Planner.
  • Conduct compliance systems checks, including fire alarm testing, emergency light testing, water flushes, and tap and shower temperature checks.
  • Carry out operational tests and inspections of facilities, focusing on security, access, maintenance, repair, and health and safety.
Prioritizing Quality and Efficiency

The post holder must maintain awareness of RFM's policies, procedures, and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service.

Supporting the Team

You will be required to participate in an On-Call rota, providing 24-hour, 365-day cover to the Facilities team.

Requirements
  • Good joinery and fabrication skills.
  • A related trade qualification or experience in a similar role.
  • Basic electrical duties knowledge, including lamp changes and minor repairs.
