About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at Safran Seats. As a key member of our Supply Chain Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading our Material Schedulers and ensuring that we have the correct materials on site at the right time for our production facilities while managing cost and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Material Schedulers team to achieve inventory management goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement and optimize inventory levels
  • Develop and maintain inventory forecasts and identify obsolete stock to mitigate financial impact
  • Work closely with suppliers to discuss performance metrics and provide feedback
  • Measure and analyze performance using BU-defined metrics and develop recovery plans as needed

Requirements

  • Supply Chain experience with a focus on procurement and inventory management
  • Team leadership and supplier performance management skills
  • Proficiency in MRP and ERP systems
  • CIPS qualification or working towards it
  • Experience with multi-site manufacturing
