Metadata Specialist for Cultural Heritage

The Digital Preservation Coalition is seeking a Metadata Specialist for Cultural Heritage to join their team. As the Systems Archivist, you will work closely with colleagues in the Archive and Modern Manuscripts and Digital Initiatives departments to maintain and develop the Archival Management System (AMS).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain the AMS and develop its use and application to meet the needs of stakeholders
- Act as a first point of contact for system users, responding to inquiries and coordinating with colleagues in the Archive and Modern Manuscripts and Digital Initiatives departments
- Liaise with the Cambridge archives community and support the Cambridge AMS User group
**Requirements:
- Qualified archivist or information professional with knowledge of archival collections and services
- Experience using an archive management system and working with metadata standards and production within an academic library, archive, museum, or related environment
- Advanced skills working with large quantities of textual data using a range of applications and experience of data management and migration
**Salary:** £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
