Job Title: Team Leader

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Estates Department at Barton & Peveril Sixth Form College.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Cleaning Services Supervisor in ensuring that college facilities are cleaned to the highest standards.
  • Allocate work to cleaning staff and ensure that the work is completed to a satisfactory standard.
  • Be the point of contact for cleaning staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the Cleaning Services Supervisor to develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on cleaning performance and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a team leadership role, preferably in a cleaning or facilities management environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Working Hours: The successful candidate will be required to work a standard 37-hour week, including some evenings and weekends.
