Hf Trust is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Deputy Service Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities.

About the Role

As a Deputy Service Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Service Manager in overseeing a residential service providing personal care to individuals. You will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Service Manager in managing and ensuring the delivery of the services key quality and safety priorities
  • Hold delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the residential activity/service
  • Directly supervise and line manage a team of support workers
  • Act as an exemplary role model and promote good practice at all times

Requirements

  • Significant, recent experience at a front-line management level in the field of learning disabilities in regulated services
  • Knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to adults with learning disabilities, CQC regulations, and Health and Safety issues
  • Good IT skills and experience of maintaining records
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or willingness to undertake this level 5 apprenticeship qualification within an agreed reasonable timescale of 18 months
