We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team in the GI Unit. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong clinical leadership and inspire the nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Assess, plan, and implement care for patients, providing specialist advice and maintaining accurate records.
- Lead and coordinate the clinical, managerial, and educational requirements of the clinical area, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice and care.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients, promoting dignity and human rights through person-centered care principles.
- Collaborate with the ward sisters to support the nursing team in providing high-quality care.
- BSc/1st degree in a health-related field or equivalent qualification/training and experience.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in a relevant area of specialty.
- RN1/RN2/RN12 or RN Child Registered Nurse on the NMC register, holding the appropriate level for the area of specialty.
