About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to join our dynamic team as a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced acute medical ward with a strong focus on patient care and staff development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on change projects to promote a learning environment and develop the nursing team to provide the best possible care to patients.
  • Work closely with ward sisters to implement innovative ideas and improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement education programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse Part 1, 2 or relevant section of the register (Adult or Paediatric)
  • Accredited teaching course
  • A Band 6 nurse with clinical experience within an acute Adult specialty
  • Proficient in education, administration, and IV support skills
