Located at HM Prison Bullingdon, we are seeking a skilled Painter Decorator to join our Facilities Maintenance Team.

We work closely with experienced colleagues from various trades, including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, and Cleaners. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the smooth operation and maintenance of the prison facility.

Your role as a Painter Decorator will involve working on a range of tasks, including painting and decorating cells, corridors, and other areas. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with health and safety guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a maintenance team
  • An honest and reliable character, who can approach their work with a sense of purpose and pace
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
