Job Summary

As a key member of the Solos Consultants Ltd team, the Director of Education Estate Management will be responsible for delivering the property service and asset management function for the Families, Children & Learning Directorate (FCL).

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Education Estate is fit for purpose and capital resources are maximised within the limits of affordability to meet the needs of the FCL.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the property service and asset management function.
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address property-related issues and opportunities.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective delivery of services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management and asset management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of property law and regulations.

Working Arrangements

The successful candidate will be based in Brighton and will be required to work on-site 3 days per week. The role will involve regular travel to other locations as required.
