Director of Estates and Facilities

The University of Sussex is seeking a strategic leader to oversee its estate and facilities management, ensuring a world-class physical environment that supports academic ambitions and exceptional student, staff, and visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and operational management for the University's estate and facilities management
  • Develop and implement estates solutions to address climate change and environmental sustainability challenges
  • Lead a broad remit spanning masterplanning, capital development, property and space management, facilities management, and commercial services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a great service and adapt to changing needs
