Mechanical Platform Engineer - Nuclear Submarine Program

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Platform Engineer to join our Nuclear Submarine Program, responsible for designing and developing Mechanical Platform Systems that ensure the safety and effectiveness of our vessels.

About the Role:

  • To design and develop Mechanical Platform Systems that meet stringent safety and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration and delivery of systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in Fluid Systems Design and related areas.
  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive design documents and plans.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educated to Degree level in Engineering, Mechanical or Science subjects.
  • Chartered Engineer within a recognised engineering institute.
  • Background in Fluid Systems Design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a highly competitive salary ranging from £52,000, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave incentive, and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
