Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at an Outstanding Primary School in Camden. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and providing general classroom support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Teachers, SENCOs, and Therapists to develop and implement individualized support plans for students with SEN.
  • Provide 1:1 interventions, small group activities, and general classroom support to students with varying needs.
  • Work closely with the teaching team to ensure seamless integration of support into the curriculum.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote student engagement and motivation.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's SEN policy.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background, educated to a degree level.
  • Proven experience working with children with SEN, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Dyslexia, and mild learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • High standards of Maths and English.
