Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Support key program customer financial deliverables, including budgets, allowable Cost Reviews, and other customer assurance activities.
- Financial Reporting: Provide accurate and relevant project financial performance reporting with commentary, including risk & opportunities and EVM.
- Costing Models: Support the Financial Controller in the creation and maintenance of costing models.
- Project Budgeting: Co-ordinate and assist in the preparation and review of the project annual budgets, monthly re-forecast.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance to enterprise guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the modernisation of Project Finance and delivery of continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide assistance to key stakeholders, in the effective and profitable delivery of customer projects in all aspects of the project life cycle and ensure collaboration across the teams.
- Internal Audit: Provide an internal audit function, ensuring project setup and maintenance compliance.
- Financial Data: Support Project Managers in the ongoing achievement of project finance outcomes, assisting in the provision of financial data to support project budgeting decisions.
- Coaching and Development: Provide coaching and financial insight to our Project Support Officers.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the broader finance team and Data Analyst to ensure effective outcomes for the enterprise are achieved.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of project accounting experience.
- Qualifications: Requires a University Degree in commerce, finance or accounting, or an appropriate level of prior relevant experience.
- Skills: Experience with project and business reporting including forecasting, experience in Project systems and tools, such as Tempo with the ability to connect technical setup to process and utilisation.
- Collaboration: The ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and members of the broader finance team.
