About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team in the Greater Manchester area as an Advanced Practitioner.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have post-qualifying experience in Children's Safeguarding, with a strong background in Looked After Children or Duty and Assessments. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Protecting children from abuse and maltreatment
  • Ensuring children receive safe and effective care
  • Working collaboratively with families and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes
  • Providing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
