About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Autism Support Specialist. As a Support Worker with Autism East Midlands, you will play a vital role in supporting autistic individuals with a variety of activities that they enjoy and encouraging independent living skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic support, including personal care, medication administration, and integration into the local community.
  • Manage anxieties and support individuals with distressing behavior.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
